Solaqua Power & Art is well positioned to play a visible and relevant role in the development of green-tech workforce training, renewable energy demonstrations and public education.

Solaqua is creating a comprehensive Solar Thermal Center that will include demonstration models, workforce development training and public education of solar thermal technologies. Solar thermal systems capture the sun’s energy, in the form of BTU’s, to heat water or air.

Workforce Development Training

The Center will feature a state-of-the-art training facility powered by renewable energy, with classrooms and labs that are equipped with a variety of solar thermal collectors, tanks, pumps, controllers, and other components. A mobile lab is in development that could be transported to other locations for hands-on training classes.

Public Education

SOLAQUA EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH – Continuing Education Programs

The Center’s educational mission focuses on high school and adult education, for professional certification and nonprofessionals. Solaqua will establish partnerships with educators who teach courses on solar thermal installation and design, and other relevant topics.

SOLAQUA EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH – Youth Programs

Solaqua is developing hands-on youth programs to engage young people about the principles of renewable energy, the importance of energy conservation, and professional opportunities in the renewable energy field. Solaqua is developing a variety of demonstration models to illustrate solar, wind, and water-power, and principles of energy generation central to the Solaqua
